As Christians

We as Christians need to be more patient in life. We may pray about something and we are so desperate for God to answer our prayers immediately that we begin to listen to our inner voice thinking it is God who is speaking to us. We may begin to make drastic decisions that we really want to make and say God is telling us to do it when sometimes this is not so. We need to search deep within ourselves and ask ourselves, did God really tell me this? or is this just something that I want to do?

In this day and age where everything is at our fingertips or just one click away, no one wants to have to wait so long for God to answer our prayer. Patience is one of the fruit of the spirit and people should exercise it because things happens the way God wants it to, not how we want it. Because God is so loving and caring and merciful, we often feel entitled to everything. We feel as if because we asked him for it we should have it as soon as we finished praying, but please remember that patience is a virtue and everything takes time.

  1. Yes this is true. And it takes a true Christian, one who is deep in Christ, to realise the wrong he/she is doing and that such actions is not the way of God.

  2. So true sister. More while people too eager to hear from god. They should know that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint ( Isa 40:31). They should start waiting on God.
